WIP (Sort of) Blood Bowl Nurgle Bloaters

BLOOD BOWL NURGLE BLOATERS

Lost track towards the end. I swear I'll get these better eventually.

1. Started with a sprayed base coat of Chaos Black spray. Then based the skin with 2 variations:

bloater on the left had a base coat of Vallejo Pale Flesh then GW Screamer Pink (mixed with some 

Lamian medium) and the one on the right was just Screamer Pink. The left was an accident as I was choosing colors, but I went with it. 

2. GW Leadbelcher on the armor and helmets. GW Dryad Brown on wood and nails. Vallejo Purple for pants and gloves.

3. Added Ceramite White (Medium mixed in) to the guts and eyes.

4. Vallejo Flourescent Green added in several layers

5. Vallejo Livery Green added to guts and Bronze added to edges of shoulder pads

6. Abadon Black (with 5 parts Lathiam Medium) washed around edges of belly closest to the green.

Key to bright colors is contrast. Typhus added to armor in stippling pattern.

7. Wash of GW Druchi Violet added to edges of belly, pants and areas of the flesh. 

8. RUST! The 2nd funnest part. Various stages at this point. Started with Vallejo Surface Primer German Brown. Then some VJ Light Rust. Followed by some thick VJGC Rust. Mixed some GW Typhus with the Primer and stipled thickly. I added this rust to the armor, helmet, and nails. And then added various gook. 

Applied a tiny bit of Ceramite White to tips of eyes and raised surface areas of guts. Added Vallejo water effects mixed with VJ Neon Green to eyes and guts prior to the white highlights. 

9. Mixed GW Emperors Children and GW Screamer to highlight the flesh.

After this I lost track of my progress as I was grabbing paints super fast and quickly making 

decisions...but I'll be BACK to try again!
